”The Pig Sisters"
Advanced Practical Japanese Speech Emphasis: This was a group project I worked together with two fellow international students from South Korea during my study abroad. We did a voicing-acting project to demonstrate our understanding of Japanese colloquialisms especially in relation to age and gender. My primary responsibility was writing the general script and story line in casual Japanese.

"What Should You Do When You Can't Focus?"
Intensive Japanse Level 4 (intermediate/advanced): I interviewed Japanese students at my host university about distractions they are prone to and methods they use to maintain focus.
「大変だった経験：アフガンの難民と話す」
"A Difficult Experience: Speaking with Afghan Refugees"
Intensive Japanese Level 4 （intermediate/advanced): This was an essay I wrote in Japanese about a cross-cultural experience and challenges and lesson I gained from it.

Philosophy in Modern China: I wrote a paper on Modern Confucian Principles and how they influence Japanese work culture and intepersonal dynamics within, especially in/out-group ideology and hierarchy.
Cultural Competency
"Transboundary Water Disputes in Africa: The Great Ethiopian Rennaisance Dam"
Introduction to Political Science: I wrote a paper discussing the geopolitical dispute over the Nile River between Ethiopia and Egypt and potential solutions to appease both parties.
"Political Debate and Expressing Disagreement in Japan"
Linguistic Anthropology: I translated a youtube video transcription of the 2020 Annual policy debate at the Japan National Press Conference. I observed various indicators of disagreement and agreement in relation to social factors like age.
